The following harps are for sale by individual WAFHS members. The harps listed here have not been examined by WAFHS and therefore a listing here does not imply an endorsement by the WAFHS. Caveat emptor.




FOR RENT WAFHS has several harps available for rent. 30 - 34 string lever harps are available for rent for a minimum of 3 months. Available to Washington, DC, area residents only.

FOR SALE 28-string cherry harp for sale. Built from a Steen harp kit by a local instrument maker. Levers on C's, F's, and one D. Range is from 2nd A below middle C to third G above middle C. Comes with detachable legs, case, and tuning key.

FOR SALE Folkcraft Clarenbridge Harps 55" Amergin Harp -- in excellent condition

The Amergin is a medium string tension harp. Its note range is very versatile for playing many harp music arrangements. Its volume is particularly impressive. It is a good beginner harp. The body, neck and pillar are solid Mahogany. The soundboard is laminated Baltic Birch. Its 3 1/2 octaves and 27 strings are pitched from "G" up to "E" (1 octave + 3 notes below middle "C" up to 2 octaves + 2 notes above middle "C"). Height on its' removable easy slide legs is 55". Maximum width is 21". Soundboard width is 10". Weight is 13 pounds. There is a Celtic decoration on the soundboard as well as Loveland sharping levers on all the strings. The sweeping curve of the neck is quite dramatic. Included are 2 complete sets of strings, a padded carrying case (burgundy), tuning wrench, and 2 high arched base supports and 2 short base supports (High supports shown in picture).

The price is $1600 and it is available for viewing in the Springfield, VA, area. If you are not in the DC area preferred payment is via US Postal money order. Shipping is extra.
